The Good Samaritan Ministry supports individuals and families who are often overlooked by others. Violence, addiction, poverty, oppression, chronic mental illness, and other injustices often isolate victims and survivors from the blessings of a safe and welcoming community.  

We are a Catholic ministry, supported by every pastor in South Boston and sustained by the goodwill and compassion of volunteers from every parish community.  

Our Peace Ministry offers Peace Breakfasts, Peace Picnics, Pasta and Peace dinners and other gatherings where compassion and kindness heal hearts and spirits wounded by violence.  Our Recovery Ministry offers a sanctuary of support and spiritual nourishment for those seeking recovery from addiction and for their families and friends.  Our Food Security Ministry provides monthly groceries and emergency food for individuals and families living with hunger.  Please contact Deacon Paul to explore how this ministry might be strengthened by your participation!
